About Us

1in8b Life is an independent, individually operated content site about 1 in 8 Billion, the browser life simulation built by Jin's Earth. It exists to answer the questions a new player actually has — what the game is, how a life is drawn from published statistics, what the four status bars do, how a run ends — in plain text you can read before or after you play.

It is a reading site, not a game portal. Four things are true of every page here:

We do not host, mirror or embed the game. There is no player on this site. The play area at the top of a game page is intentionally empty: it tells you where the game actually lives and links out to it.
We are not affiliated with the developer. 1in8b Life is not operated, sponsored, endorsed or reviewed by Jin's Earth, the studio behind 1 in 8 Billion, or by anyone connected to the game's official site at 1in8b.life. Any statement on this site is ours alone.
Trademarks belong to their owners. 1 in 8 Billion, 1in8b and any related names, logos and marks belong to Jin's Earth and their respective owners. This site uses the name only to identify and discuss the game; nothing here grants or implies a licence to those marks.
The words and images are our own. No official screenshots, artwork, fonts or other protected material is reproduced. The cover art and icons on this site were made for this site.

Everything here is written and maintained by one person, in English. The game is in beta and changes quickly, so if something is out of date, write to us at dmca@1in8b-life.com and we will correct it.
